Obiettivi

Realizzare una mappa del quartiere che ospita il festival TTT - Think Town Terni. Tale mappa si sviluppa con i punti e gli spazi attraversati, seguendo la geografia di relazioni e di sinergie che permettono al territorio di essere vivo e di svilupparsi.

Descrizione

Izmo associazione culturale con il progetto Terni 24h esplora il quartiere Città-Giardino dalle ore 12 di lunedì 27 settembre fino alle ore 12 di martedì 28. L'azione di deriva urbana  prende il via dal museo CAOS e conduce i partecipanti a sviluppare un'attenzione, visione, osservazione e critica del territorio tramite un'approccio non usuale e ipertemporale.

Metodi e linguaggi

L'esperienza vissuta sul territorio è narrata e disegnata in tempo reale durante le 24 ore, attraverso uno strumento infografico (Cmap Tool) fruibile e nella sede museale o via web.
La deriva urbana è influenzata dai cittadini incontrati, dai luoghi attraversati, dai suoi partecipanti e dalle informazioni che si ricevono via web in tempo reale. La mappa costituisce il risultato finale e i suoi materiali digitali e non, esportati sul blog del quartiere, sono utili a fornire nuovi informazioni ai cittadini e a suoi amministratori.

Osservazioni

• L'obiettivo di attraversare e osservare non stop il quartire Città Giardino è stato perseguito grazie al ritmo lento della deriva e a lunghe pause. Il poter attraversare in modo non preordinato il quartiere per 24h, ha permesso di evidenziare e riconoscere le fasi di evoluzione e cambiamento dell'area durante il suo ciclo vitale di un'intera giornata, permettendoci di essere parte osservante e interattiva del suo funzionamento.
• i partecipanti all'attività hanno stimolato in modo interessante il nostro percorso, arricchendo il nostro sguardo e le direzioni della deriva durante le fasi della giornata;
• sulla mappa, i punti e le corrispettive relazioni, emerse durante il giorno, sono più fitti e determinati da incontri e da precisi stimoli visivi. Durante la notte i punti si diradano e le loro relazioni si allungano, guidati da stimoli limitati all'udito e alla vista di fonti luminose;
• la piattaforma tecnologica (laptop connesso 3G - CMap Tool - connessione internet - proiezione) ha funzionato e permesso ai visitatori del museo e agli utenti web di seguire in real time il nostro percorso.

Objectives

Make a map of the neighborhood that hosts the festival TTT - Think Town Terni. This map is developed by exploring open spaces and following the geography of relationships and synergies that allow the territory to thrive and grow.

Description

Izmo cultural association with the project "Terni 24hr" explores the neighborhood "Città Giardino" starting from 12am Monday, September 27^th, until 12 am Tuesday the 28^th. The urban drift event kicks off at the CAOS museum and leads participants to develop focus, vision, observation and criticism of the territory through an unusual and ipertemporale approach.

Methods and languages

The experience on the ground is narrated and drawn in real time during the 24 hours through an info-graphic tool (Cmap Tool), project onto a screen in the museum and shown line on the Web.
Urban drift is influenced by the people encountered, places visited, by its participants and the information received via the Web in real time. The map is the final result and its digitized materials exported to the district blog are useful to provide new information to the citizens and its public administrators.

Comments

• The non-stop exploration and observation of the "Città Giardino" neighbourhood  has been pursued thanks to the area's rhythm of slow drift and long pauses. Being able to traverse the district for 24 hours in an unrestricted manner allowed us to highlight and recognize the stages of evolution and change in the area during the life cycle of a day, allowing us to be an observant and interactive part of this area's operation.
• The participants in the activity stimulated our path in an interesting way, enriching our vision and direction of our focus during the day;
• On the map, points and corresponding relationships emerged  during the day, showing areas of higher density due to meetings and experiences. During the night the points are less frequent and reports are few and far between, narrowed down to the hearing  of noises and the sighting of light sources;
• The technology platform (laptop connected to 3G - CMap Tool - Internet connection - projection) has worked well  and allowed visitors to the museum and real time web users to follow our path.
